The customer signs a long-term power purchase agreement, at a significantly discounted tariff than what they are paying their current electricity provider. Afterward, the customer receives the solar PV system for their building free of charge that will be owned by them by the end of the agreement. During the agreement term, the customer pays their electricity bill as usual while enjoying the savings from the solar energy.

Discount can range from 5% up to 30% depending on the current electricity tariff and the roof size.

Solar Photovoltaics (PV) panels directly produce electricity from sunlight. The panels transferred the DC electricity to an inverter that changes it to AC for daily electricity consumption for a building or power grid.
Solar PV panels use direct or indirect sunlight to generate power. The solar PV panels still work when the light is reflected or partially blocked by clouds. Rain also keeps the efficiency of solar PV panels by washing away dust and dirt.
Companies like Apple, Amazon, and Facebook uses solar energy for their operations to support sustainability initiative. Small, medium enterprises (SMEs) are also starting to use solar to offset their electricity cost.
